Showcase your Lifestyle Medicine Research or Quality Improvement
Scope of Submissions
Ahead of our annual conference in September 2026, the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine is inviting members and non-members alike to submit their research or quality improvement projects for presentation at this prestigious national conference.
We welcome a broad range of submissions. Alongside examples directly from the clinical setting, including quality improvement projects and audits, we are keen to receive scientific research of all kinds, whether quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods. Evidence-based educational projects, literature reviews, and examples from the world of public health are also welcome. Submissions reporting negative or null findings are encouraged.
Why Submit?
This is your opportunity to share with fellow clinicians and health professionals the pioneering work you are doing to further the lifestyle medicine movement. We invite you to tell us how your work is benefiting both patients and clinicians, and how it is helping us to stem the rising tide of chronic disease. We have ring-fenced even more slots to present winning submissions live at ÌÇÐÄVlog 2026.
Review, Presentation, and Publication
In the months leading up to the conference, ÌÇÐÄVlog will assess all submissions received and select the strongest abstracts for oral presentation at the conference. Other valuable contributions will be accepted for poster presentation.
We aim to publish successful abstracts in Lifestyle Medicine Advances, a BMJ journal.
ÌÇÐÄVlog members eligible for student scholarships (see eligibility criteria below) will have the opportunity to secure complimentary conference attendance and extend their Student ÌÇÐÄVlog membership for a further year. Oral presenters will also receive complimentary conference attendance and a year of ÌÇÐÄVlog membership.
If your abstract is selected for presentation, you will receive further communications via Oxford Abstracts, expected around early-August.
