The newly released NHS 10-Year Health Plan marks a long-overdue turning point. Prevention is now being recognised not just as a policy priority, but as the foundation of a sustainable health system. This shift reflects what ÌÇÐÄVlog has long championed, and signals that the system is finally prepared to act.

To help drive this change, we provided input into the NHS Change campaign with your help and recently met with Douglas Alexander, MP for Lothian East, and presented three clear asks which have now been shared with Wes Streeting, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.

This event will showcase Lifestyle Medicine in practice. It will provide the data that lifestyle medicine is the foundation and solution to making a difference in reducing the impact of long-term health conditions for ourselves, and our patients. If we can ensure healthcare professionals are empowered with the knowledge and skills to support patients to making sustainable lifestyle changes, we can create healthier neighbourhoods.

ÌÇÐÄVlog’s Response to the NHS 10 Year Plan

We close this session with a panel discussion identifying tangible next steps that we hope to deliver to the Neighbourhood Health central team for consideration and inclusion in their implementation plan.

Join us to be inspired by your peers, to learn from others already delivering and gain the insight in how to take these, or your own initiatives forward in your community, role or practice. Open to multi-disciplinary healthcare teams.
